Welcome to Afterglow Hair salon
We are a small, locally run business established in 2008 in the beautiful town of Cochrane. Our heart for the salon is to serve our community by providing exceptional and professional services. As a family-oriented business, we enjoy serving clients of all ages. As a salon, we strive to create styles that are current and customizable to each of our clients' needs. Our stylists are committed to constantly educating ourselves and experimenting with new trends.
Our team works together as a family to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere for our customers. We believe that our clients are our family too! Ziad is the owner of Afterglow and has over 26 years of experience styling hair. Ziad enjoys creating drastic transformations and challenging himself with unique cuts and colours.
He brings the party to the salon! You'll often find Ziad singing and dancing behind the chair!

D i a n e
Diane's developed a strong passion for the hair industry at a young age, cutting friends' and family members' hair in her early teenage years! Upon graduating from Aveda Hair Institute in 2019, Diane joined the Afterglow team and has been contributing her skills to the salon. Quality and genuine care for her clients are at the forefront of her work. Her goal is to ensure that every client leaves her chair feeling confident and beautiful!

Meet Sam! As one of our newer stylists at Afterglow with many years in the hair industry behind him, Sam is committed to continuing education and learning new techniques to bring the best results behind the chair. Sam is excellent as listening to your concerns and ensuring that you leave his chair with a style that is custom to you!

Our lovely stylist Jen has been with the team since the beginning! Cochrane is home to her, and Jen enjoys connecting with her community! Jen is exceptional in ensuring that her clients have a great time in her chair. She absolutely loves her fun colour and cut clients. Pink hair? Fun perms? Trendy Mullets? Jen is the stylist to see!

In 2008, Afterglow opened its doors for the first time in a small salon on main street. As our Cochrane community grew, so did our need for more space! In 2019, Afterglow moved to our current location in the Quarry, Cochrane. The salon's convenient location in the heart of Cochrane allows us to welcome local customers and out-of-town guests from places like Bragg Creek, Canmore, and Calgary! Our salon is ready to serve all clients from near and far!
